Founded by Alison Greco (that’s me!), a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) who recognized that combining the best parts of peer support and coaching activates your existing capabilities while you manage difficult life challenges.

Enter: Structured Emotional Support™, a specialized modality I designed for supporting people who are managing life challenges, like recovering from an injury or a surgery, or conducting a job search or workplace challenge.

At Parathera, we are experts at empathetic listening and constructive problem-solving to offer real, meaningful support—without diagnosing, treating, or replacing therapy. We believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, validated, and encouraged.

Parathera isn’t therapy or counseling. It is Connected Coaching using SES for getting through life’s challenges. If symptoms arise, or deeper work is needed, we will refer to clinical resources. If you are in crisis right now and need immediate help, call 988.

Risk Awareness - It is important to be ethical and stay within our scope of practice. Supportive, compassionate coaching means we look for risks. We evaluate for risk when working with you on plans or next steps. We pay attention to your experience and behaviors and flag patterns we recognize. And, if deeper or more acute needs arise, we refer to professionals to ensure you get the best, most appropriate care.
